The Questions
Do you use Goodreads, The StoryGraph or Book Bub? (If not, is there a reason why?)
Recently, I signed up for Goodreads and it’s been really cool! I have been able to find a lot of book recommendations! Oh, and also keep track of the books I’ve read for my goal.
What is your favorite thing to drink while you read?
Typically, I don’t drink anything while I read except water. However, sometimes in the evenings, I’ll drink lavender chamomile tea while reading.
What are three books currently on your wishlist?
Oh, narrowing down to three is so hard! Let’s see how this goes. *looks at list for 5 minutes* Okay, I choose “Shadow” by Kara Swanson (it’s coming out in July!!), “Easy Target” by Tim Shoemaker, and “This Changes Everything: How the Gospel Transforms the Teen Years” by Jaquelle Crowe. Wow, that was hard!
What book are your currently reading?
Well, I’m actually reading four books at this moment. “Counting Stars in an Empty Sky: Trusting God’s Promises for Your Impossibilities” by Michael Youssef, “Stepping Heavenward” by Elizabeth Prentiss, “At Your Service” by Jen Malone and “Ignite” by Jenna Terese.
Do you have a favorite genre?
Yes, I do! My favorite genre is definitely mystery.
When do you first remember falling in love with reading?
I’ve always enjoyed reading ever since I learned how and as I got older, my oldest brother would buy me books. But I think I’ve really fallen more in love with reading last year after coming out of my reading slump.
Whate is a trope that irritates you?
Something has to a young girl and she moves to a farm with her mother, and the girl’s instructor falls in love with her mother. This is why I don’t really like horse movies. ๐
How do you feel about YA Contemporary novels?
I have not read any novels in this genre, so I don’t have an answer.
What is your favorite book to movie adaptation?
Is this question a typo and you forgot to put “what are” and an “s” after adaptation? xD Choosing one is so difficult! I’ll just say that it’s between the “Little Women” 2019 adaptation and Disney’s “Prince Caspian”.
Do you regularly copy out/underline quotes that you love from books?
I like to keep my books looking new, so I don’t do that. But sometimes I’ll write quotes out in a notebook, or if I’m reading a Christian nonfiction I will highlight.
Well, that was a lot of fun! Now, who shall I tag?
